First — are you eligible?

If your bill says FPL, you're a fit.

Battery backup is open to any FPL homeowner — solar or not. We're straight with you about the economics: FPL's net metering still credits solar fairly, so this isn't a bill-slashing pitch. It's the week the grid is down that the battery earns its place.

Storm-season backup, sized to your home
You know the drill

The outage, the cooler, the fuel run.

Panhandle homeowners don't need convincing that multi-day outages happen — they need a plan that isn't a gas generator in the rain. A battery is automatic, silent, and charged before the storm arrives.

Questions, answered.

Do I need solar?+
No. A Powerwall charges from the grid and runs your home during outages. If you have solar, the panels recharge it during an extended outage — that's the difference between a day of backup and riding out a long restoration.
How is this better than my generator?+
It starts itself, fuels itself, and makes no noise or fumes. No pre-storm gas-station lines, no monthly test runs, no carbon monoxide risk. Many customers keep the generator as a backup to the backup — and stop using it.
Will it lower my power bill?+
Honestly: not by much in FPL territory — Florida's net metering credits solar at full retail, and we won't pretend otherwise. This is protection and independence, priced as a predictable monthly payment.
Is there a rebate or tax credit?+
No FPL battery rebate exists, and the federal residential credit expired at the end of 2025. Anyone quoting you '30% back' is selling last year. We'd rather tell you the truth and let the storm math speak for itself.
What does it cost per month?+
Most homeowners start with one battery for a low monthly payment on the financed price; whole-home coverage pairs two. We show every number and confirm against your real bill before anything is signed.
