SMS Terms & Message Policy

Kin Battery · Volume Path, LLC · Last updated: August 19, 2026

Kin Battery (a DBA/brand of Volume Path, LLC) sends text messages only to people who ask us to. This page at https://kinbattery.com/sms is the public call-to-action for A2P 10DLC review. It describes exactly how someone opts in, what we send, and how to stop.

How you opt in

There are two first-party ways to opt in: the quote request form at kinbattery.com, or a Kin Battery Meta (Facebook or Instagram) Instant Form. We do not buy, rent, or share phone numbers for text messaging, and we never opt someone in on their behalf.

1. Website quote form

  1. You start a quote request on kinbattery.com and answer a few questions about your home and utility.
  2. At the contact step you enter your name, email, and phone number.
  3. Below the contact fields are two separate, independent checkboxes. Both are unchecked by default, and each must be checked individually to opt in to that message type.
  4. You submit the form. Checking either box is optional — the form submits either way.

The exact opt-in language on the form

Shown beneath both checkboxes on the form: “Both text message options are optional, and you may continue without selecting either option.” The boxes on this page are the same initially unchecked controls. Checking them here does not submit a quote.

2. Meta Instant Form

A homeowner opens a Kin Battery advertisement on Facebook or Instagram and completes our first-party Instant Form. The consumer must affirmatively check an initially unchecked consent box before the form can be submitted. The Instant Form links to this page's Privacy Policy URL. That checkbox is required to submit the Instant Form; it is still not a condition of purchasing any good or service.

Instant Form disclosure version tag: meta-v2-required-checkbox-2026-07-08. This replica is published here so a campaign reviewer can verify the Meta call-to-action without logging into Ads Manager.

Consent is never required

SMS consent is not a condition of purchase and is not required to submit a quote request, book a consultation, or buy any product or service from Kin Battery. Declining both checkboxes does not change your quote, your pricing, or your place in line. The two consents are independent: agreeing to customer care messages does not opt you in to marketing messages.
